Whisper Money

Roadmap.

What's shipped. What's coming.

  1. Hello, Currently, we have to import transactions multiple times across different accounts and CSV files. It would be nice if we could somehow import all of them under one csv, where a column indicated the account and Whisper Money soft matches it (e.g., Chequing matches Checking).

  2. Visualize liquidity of money

    PlannedJul 17, 2026

Hello! It would be amazing to understand how much of the Net worth is liquid vs not liquid. There could be some accounts, like real state or Pension Plans (in Spain) that are not liquid money because of the restriction that you have to take the money back. Maybe we could set an account-level attribute to consider which money is liquid or not (maybe with some default values by account type if not set). Then allow the user to filter by liquidity in the dashboard, the same as they can do with real state/loans This could help people to plan better the mid-term expenses.

  3. Export

    PlannedJan 8, 2026

Full export of all transactions across all accounts. This increases user trust by ensuring they never lose access to their financial history.

  4. Savings Goals & Progress Bars

    In progressAug 11, 2026

I was thinking it'd be awesome to have a Savings/Investment Goals feature. Imagine being able to set a goal (e.g., "7,500€ for a motorcycle") and link a specific account to it. It would be amazing to see a progress bar on the dashboard filling up as you save for different things, like an emergency fund or a personal project.

  5. It would be great to have joint accounts where expenses are automatically split by custom percentages (like 50/50 or 60/40). That way, if you track your personal finances, you only see your actual share of an expense instead of the full amount—like paying €20 for a €40 dinner if you're splitting it half and half.

  6. Shared access for family accounts

    In progressAug 10, 2026

Allowing two users to view the same budget summary would make household planning much easier.

  7. Labels 2.0

    ShippedAug 11, 2026

Right now we already have an option for labeling transactions, but we can not see how much are we spending per month, all labeled transactions and more. For example, if I go on a trip, I will create a label for that trip and add this label to all transactions. When I'm back home, I will like to see how much money I have spent, in which categories, an so on.

  8. What's the idea? Right now, when you delete a transaction, the account balance doesn't automatically update. To fix it, you have to go into the balance history/settings and manually delete or adjust the logged balance to get the real number. It would be awesome if deleting a transaction instantly recalculated the balance automatically! Why it matters: If you delete a mistake or a duplicate transaction, you expect your total balance to adjust right away. Having to manually hunt down the balance entry just to force an update is a bit confusing and creates extra friction to keep your accounts accurate. How it helps: It keeps everything perfectly in sync. Delete a transaction, and boom—your real balance updates instantly without any extra steps.

  9. I would like the option to set a threshold for my spending categories that triggers a notification when I get close to the limit.

  10. Other currency

    ShippedJul 8, 2026

    HKD (Hong Kong Dollar)

  11. Instead of having to manually create each automatic rule, could we use AI to recommend rules based on our transactions and make the start a lot easier.

  12. Problem: Users can see their overall monthly cash flow, but they cannot track how a specific category (e.g., fuel, groceries) fluctuates over time. There is currently no way to view a dedicated historical chart or data breakdown for a single category to monitor monthly variations. Suggested Solution: Add a detailed view for each spending category that includes a monthly trend chart. This will allow users to select a specific category and visually track their spending habits month over month.

  13. Currently, connected bank accounts and balances are displayed under the total net worth in the order they were linked. Users cannot customize this view to prioritize their primary or most frequently used accounts. Suggested Solution: Introduce a drag-and-drop mechanism or a simple reordering setting that allows users to manually arrange the display order of their bank accounts on the dashboard.

  14. I'm getting a daily email that tells me new transactions have been imported. But I can't find the option to turn it off.

  15. My bank export all transactions by default with this date format and, because it's not available on the importer. I need to manually modify the CSV with something like `=DATE(LEFT(C6,4),MID(C6,5,2),RIGHT(C6,2))`.

  16. What's the idea? Right now in Settings > Categories, we can only sort our categories alphabetically by name. It would be awesome if we could also sort them by color or type. Why it matters: A lot of us use colors to group similar categories together (like blue for all transport stuff, or green for housing). Because we can only sort by name, categories with the same color end up scattered all over the place. Dragging them around manually to see them together is a bit of a pain! How it helps: Being able to click and sort by color or type would make organizing everything way faster and look much cleaner.

  17. Team, Please have a PKR - Pakistani rupee in the currency

  18. As a user importing financial transactions (via CSV/CAMT or bank sync), I want WhisperMoney to automatically extract the name of the debtor or creditor from the transaction payload and assign it to a dedicated field, So that I can easily filter, categorize, and track who money was sent to or received from without manual entry.

  19. Yearly cashflows

    ShippedMay 13, 2026

Right now on the cashflow page you can only see info by month. It will be amazing to also see yearly data.

  20. Category hierarchy

    ShippedJan 8, 2026

Example: - Transport - Taxi - Public transport This improves structure without making categorization overly complex.
